ploughing through
i have laid down my plough that cuts furrows through my history my family, my soul upending , turning, rending all that is in my path
i am lying now not in the carnage but in the fallow field watching the wild flowers in the distance that sway in the aphrodisiac breeze hoping next seasons blooms are ample
