Introducing the newest piece.... The Queen of Hearts This is only the second time, I have made a piece this large, 6ft2in by 2ft. The first piece of this size was honored with a second place by Dr. Allen Roberts, "the quintessential expert in museum art" (new york times). The Queen is currently being exhibited by the Trios Gallery in Solana Beach, CA.
CONTEMPORARY FRESCO

HEARTS OF STONE each heart of stone is an orginal painting on stone or tile. the heart configuration is determined by the natural physical beauty and attributes of the stone and my interpretation of the cracks and breaks. like contemporary frescoes, each heart painting is made of multiple layers of custom mixed colors and sealants.
the stones may be broken mosiac fashion, mended with wire, or have objects incorporated into the design to denote emotions. each is mounted on a wood back with hardware for easy hanging.
whether the hearts are broken, multi-faceted, subtle, mended or in pieces, all are beautiful...just like the hearts they represent. sometimes... it is in the breaking... that one finds.... the necessary pieces to put their heart together
hearts of stone make wonderful gifts for weddings, anniversaries and birthdays. or for any occassion, any time, you want to tell someone you understand their heart.
hearts of stone come with the heart poem of your choice. they can be purchased from my galleries, directly through me, or can be commissioned, visit the contacts and links list for contact information
i am offering one and two day workshops to create your own hearts of stone for more information contact me at: info@dgoth.net
